These berets are made from scratch in our studio with ethically sourced New Zealand Wool! Felt sheets are embroidered, embroidered tops are sewn to the band of the beret, the seam is felted over with matching wool roving, tabs are attached and flocked velvet elastic is sewn to the inside for a snug but comfortable fit!
If you have any issues with the texture of velvet please contact us! We can use a different elastic, though it may not grip your head quite as well.
All berets should comfortably fit a head circumference from ~20-26inches, due to the stretch and grip of the elastic we use! If you have any concerns about your beret fitting, or just want some extra security, consider adding beret hair combs to your cart!
Because of the nature of this fiber and the felting process, small imperfections are to be expected! Including dye spots and natural debris caught in the felt. We do our best to remove and correct small flaws in the felt, though small flaws make your beret more rustic and unique!
Photos are edited while compared to our real life beret colors for maximum accuracy. Please note that screens and dye lots can vary and the color may be ever so slightly different in real life!
These berets are spot-clean only! When spot cleaning make sure to use a dabbing motion on the soiled area, as opposed to rubbing!
Berets ship in 11x11 boxes, so the shipping is a bit more than what you may be used to from our shop.
I requested two coasters, one of Shadow the hedgehog and another of a chao. The coasters are large and high quality, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!
I love the pattern so much!!! It is very well done and the colors are bright, but I wish it was poofy-er. I ordered an XL but it feels like a M (Note: I'm very small and I like baggy clothes), the sleeve are very closely fit to my arms which is a bit uncomfortable in my opinion. The end feels a bit short, but all in all it is good quality. So, if you like tight fitted cardigans then I recommended but if prefer poofy-er ones then I would not recommend.
So sorry the fit didn’t work for you! I also like baggier cardigans and usually wear a 3XL or 4XL for these because the sleeves aren’t so balloon shaped. I will review the measurements of the cardigans again to make sure the size chart is accurate. If you’d like to exchange please let us know! :)
